Announcing KA Lite version 0.12!
After months of dev work, we’re proud to present to you the latest update of KA Lite: Version 0.12! We’ve got some awesome new features to show you, and we’re excited to share with you the direction we’ve planned for future updates!
To begin, let’s talk about some of the great new features Version 0.12 has got up its sleeve!
Deleting Users, Groups, and Facilities
We’ve heard your cries — and we’re here to help! If you’re like us and tend towards an organized system, you’ll love this new feature. You have the ability to delete users, groups, and facilities all together!

Enhanced Language Pack Management
You can now delete language packs! In addition to organizing your users, groups, and facilities, you can now organize your language packs! If you decide that you’re not interested in a language pack anymore, there is no need to simply ignore it, or push it to the side. Get rid of it, and move forward with a clean slate!
Here’s how you’d go about that:
1. Login as the administrator
2. Click the “Languages” link in the Navbar
3. In the Installed Languages section, there is now a button for deletion for each language. Clicking one should delete the corresponding language!
Improved User Control Panel
We made some changes to the control panel to help you better manage and view your data! Let’s check out the two main features that you should look out for:
Data is listed separately for groups and users

Selection can happen either by clicking and dragging or by using the checkboxes — designed to work with a mouse or tablet.

So what are we working on next?
Keep an eye out for our next update, Version 0.13, which will include even more awesome things, like:
Better user interface: We’re making it even easier for you to bring KA Lite around the world, with updates to make running on mobile flow more smoothly!
Software update page: Before, you had to use the command line in order to work with your software updates, but we’re working on putting together a page to make that process more cohesive and organized!
